Our Chef/Owner, Mike Shapiro, has a unique love of food and being of service to people!  Having grown up in New Jersey, Mike's love of Neapolitan pizza began at an early age.  During a 30 year career in law enforcement, Mike searched out many of the best pizza establishments in Los Angeles County.  Sampling pizzas throughout So Cal produced an even more intense passion for the pizza pie and the purchase of his magical oven!  Combining a commitment to service, a love for pizza and completing culinary school, Mike launched Sgt. Pepper's.
